Settings, Audio, and Request Toggles

Open the gear menu, set audio, trick and request toggles, and graphics sliders, then close with the red X.

Almost every preference sits in one SETTINGS window. There is no separate save button. Closing the window keeps the change.

Open it

  1. Look at the top-left HUD row. The reported order is the Roblox menu, chat, microphone, reset character, a shop tag, the gear, a teleport compass, and a star.
  2. Click the gear between the shop tag and the compass.
  3. Scroll the PREFERENCES list. Audio is at the top. Graphics sliders are at the bottom.
  4. Close with the red X in the upper-right of the window.

MUSIC VOLUME All the way down silences music and leaves ski sounds
MUSIC LIBRARY Current track, CHOOSE SONGS, and SKIP SONG
YOUR OWN MUSIC Paste a Roblox audio ID. Several IDs can be separated by commas, such as 123, 456. An empty box keeps the game music

Toggles

Toggle Default While on
TRICKS On Trick inputs work. Off leaves steer and jump only
TRADE REQUESTS On Other players can ask to trade

Turn off trade, race, and group requests when pop-ups break a fast line.

Sliders

FIELD OF VIEW widens or narrows the camera. Setting it to 0 keeps the current camera. LOADING DISTANCE changes how far terrain draws. Nearby obstacles stay loaded, and 100% is the current distance. Each slider has a RESET button.

If a button you expect is missing

Code lists from late September say to click your character and open Codes. Lists from October 3 describe a book icon in the top-left and a Codes icon at the bottom of that book. If neither is there, rejoin a server after you have fully spawned before you assume codes were removed. The string still has to match, including lowercase on alpha1 and iloveskiing.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is SKI (ALPHA)?

SKI (ALPHA) is a free Roblox downhill skiing game by the SKΙ group. You ski a steep course, keep your speed, land tricks, race other players, and chase faster times. Crashing costs the run.

Do skins make you faster?

Most guides describe skins, trails, and crates as cosmetics, and one beginner guide says unlocks do not change the footing of a run. A separate pedestal writeup claims Banana! and Lightning include a +15% speed perk and disagrees on their rarity. Read the text on the stand in your current server before you treat any ski as a speed upgrade.

When can I ascend?

The level readout has been shown as 1, SURVIVOR, with LVL 100: ASCEND as the milestone. A player reply on a game clip also said to reach level 100 and ascend. TesterPensil is described as an unlock for ascending twice, at level 200. What Ascend pays out after the reset is not published, so do not assume a permanent stat bonus.

Is there a confirmed Discord invite?

Code writeups say new codes are shared in the game's Discord, and some say the game page links it. This wiki does not have a verified invite URL, so use the Roblox game page and the SKΙ community instead of an unverified invite.
